HACKATHON E FIERA A RE-THINK TARANTO 2022
Milano, 29 agosto 2022 – Mancano poche settimane a “Re-think – Circular Economy Forum”, che si terrà per la seconda volta a Taranto il 3, 4 e 5 ottobre, negli spazi del Dipartimento Jonico dell’Università di Bari.
Viene confermata per questa seconda edizione la modalità ibrida, in presenza e in remoto, anche per l’Hackathon che si sta organizzando parallelamente alla parte convegnistica e che si terrà il 3 e 4 ottobre in collaborazione con Eni attraverso Joule, la sua scuola d’impresa.
Joule affianca le funzioni di business di Eni in diversi territori italiani per dare supporto ai progetti di salvaguardia ambientale e sviluppo del territorio, favorendo la crescita di startup innovative e sostenibili – ha sostenuto Mattia Voltaggio – Head of Joule, la scuola di Eni per l’impresa. – In particolare, la nostra partecipazione a Re-think – Circular Economy Forum si focalizza sugli ambiti di innovazione portuale e blue economy, che sono da sempre temi importanti per Eni nell’ambito dell’azzeramento delle emissioni scope 3.
L’Hackathon è stato pensato per tutti gli studenti, i neolaureati ed i dottorandi delle università italiane dando priorità ai candidati delle università pugliesi, che vogliono mettersi in gioco implementando e perfezionando le proprie competenze e conoscenze per lo sviluppo di soluzioni circolari (il termine per le iscrizioni è il 25 settembre, questo il link per iscriversi: https://bit.ly/3pSKhVR e questo il link per il regolamento: https://bit.ly/3AWj4I3).
In particolare, saranno quattro le sfide sulle quali i team, che potranno essere composti da un minimo di 2 ad un massimo di 5 membri, si confronteranno: Porti digitali e circolari proposta da Eni attraverso Joule, la sua scuola d’impresa; Porti sostenibili proposta da Autorità di Sistema Portuale del Mar Ionio; Agricoltura rigenerativa e circolare proposta da Cantine San Marzano ed infine, Protezione degli Ecosistemi proposta da Renexia.
Re-think Taranto rappresenta un’opportunità di confronto per prendere coscienza di come la circolarità debba permeare le strategie e guidare le performance di tutti gli operatori socio-economici. – ha commentato Sergio Prete, Presidente di Autorità di Sistema Portuale Taranto – La realtà portuale può contribuire, attraverso le sinergie con e tra i suoi stakeholders, alla chiusura del flusso di materiali e risorse energetiche segnando così il passaggio dalla linearità alla circolarità dei propri processi.
Il team che risulterà vincitore assoluto riceverà in premio un voucher di 2.500 euro, ed altre premialità potranno essere offerte dalle aziende proponenti. Per UniCredit è fondamentale promuovere la transizione sostenibile delle imprese del Paese e del Sud, oltre a sostenere, con iniziative specifiche, l’imprenditoria giovanile e le start up del territorio – ha spiegato Ferdinando Natali, Responsabile per il Sud di UniCredit Italia. – Per questo motivo UniCredit ha deciso essere al fianco anche quest’anno del Re-think – Circular Economy Forum di Taranto, l’iniziativa finalizzata a stimolare la nascita di attività innovative e imprenditoriali nel territorio locale, in coerenza con l’impegno della banca nel supportare, con strumenti di finanziamento e iniziative dedicate, la competitività del sistema produttivo del Sud.
Le università partner dell’Hackathon sono: Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro, Politecnico di Bari, Università degli Studi di Foggia, Università del Salento ed Università LUM.
La sfida dell’Hackathon riproposta da “Re-think – Circular Economy Forum” dopo il successo conseguito lo scorso anno, – ha commentato Roberto Palasciano, Presidente di Confapi Industria Taranto – è una nuova grande occasione per i giovani che abbiano voglia di testare il proprio talento nell’ideazione e sviluppo di un progetto innovativo o di una soluzione avanzata. La possibilità di fare networking con gli specialisti del settore, in una contaminazione continua di conoscenze, apprendimento e collaborazione, condividendo idee e visioni, li rende consapevoli di poter essere protagonisti del cambiamento.
In occasione di questa seconda edizione che si terrà a Taranto, inoltre, verrà allestita anche un’area fieristica dove aziende, startup, enti di ricerca ed istituti accademici, presenteranno al pubblico partecipante in loco, i progetti che stanno portando avanti, con l’obiettivo di fornire più spunti per future collaborazioni a livello micro e macro territoriale.
L’evento è organizzato da Tondo in collaborazione con Eurota ETS e ha come Main Partner Eni. HACKATHON AND FAIR AT RE-THINK TARANTO 2022
Milan, 29 August 2022 – Just a few weeks to go before “Re-think – Circular Economy Forum”, which will be held for the second time in Taranto on 3, 4 and 5 October, in the spaces of the Ionian Department of the University of Bari.
The hybrid mode, in presence and remote, is also confirmed for this second edition for the Hackathon that is being organised in parallel with the conference part and will be held on 3 and 4 October in collaboration with Eni through Joule, its business school.
Joule works alongside Eni’s business functions in various Italian territories to support environmental protection and territorial development projects, fostering the growth of innovative and sustainable start-ups, – said Mattia Voltaggio, Head of Joule, Eni’s business school. – In particular, our participation in Re-think – Circular Economy Forum focuses on the areas of port innovation and blue economy, which have always been important themes for Eni in the context of zero emissions scope 3.
The Hackathon has been designed for all students, recent graduates and PhD students from Italian Universities giving priority to Apulia’s universities candidates, who want to get involved by implementing and perfecting their skills and knowledge for the development of circular solutions (the deadline for registration is 25 September, this is the link to register: https://bit.ly/3pSKhVR and this is the link to the regulations: https://bit.ly/3AWj4I3).
In particular, there will be four challenges on which the teams, which can be composed of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 members, will compete: Digital and Circular Ports proposed by Eni through Joule, its business school; Sustainable Ports proposed by the Port System Authority of the Ionian Sea; Regenerative and Circular Agriculture proposed by Cantine San Marzano and finally, Ecosystem Protection proposed by Renexia.
Re-think Taranto represents an opportunity for discussion to become aware of how circularity should permeate the strategies and guide the performance of all socio-economic operators socio-economic operators. – commented Sergio Prete, President of the Port System Authority of the Ionian Sea – The port can contribute, through synergies with and between its stakeholders, to closing the flow of materials and energy resources, thus marking the transition from linearity to circularity in its processes.
The overall winning team will receive a €2,500 voucher as a prize, and other prizes may be offered by the proposing companies.

The Hackathon challenge re-proposed by “Re-think – Circular Economy Forum” after last year’s success, – commented Roberto Palasciano, President of Confapi Industria Taranto, – is a great new opportunity for young people who want to test their talent in the conception and development of an innovative project or advanced solution. The opportunity to network with industry specialists, in a continuous contamination of knowledge, learning and collaboration, sharing ideas and visions, makes them aware that they can be protagonists of change.
At this second edition to be held in Taranto, there will also be an exhibition area where companies, start-ups, research institutions and academic institutes will present the projects they are working on to the on-site audience, with the aim of providing more ideas for future collaborations on a micro and macro territorial level.
