Innovation Analyst
Position description
Tondo is looking for an Innovation Analyst to be part of the Taranto CirTech project, an initiative dedicated to the promotion of innovation, sustainability and circular economy. The resource, employed on a full-time fixed-term contract, will support various activities related to the development and analysis of the project.
Specifically, the figure will support the team in analysing data, drafting projects and strategic content, mapping stakeholders and trends, and monitoring funding opportunities and calls for tenders. The ideal person should be curious, analytical, with a strong passion for the world of sustainability and innovation, and possibly already have experience in contexts related to design, consultancy or strategic analysis.
Contract duration and conditions: fixed-term contract lasting 5/6 months, with the possibility of renewal. Remuneration will be commensurate with the level of experience. The working mode will be hybrid.
What you will do:
• Support the organisation of Call4Ideas and accompanying activities for start-ups.
• Support the analysis of data, trends and scenarios related to innovation and sustainability;
• Contribute to the drafting of project proposals and strategic documents functional to project development;
• Contribute to the mapping and involvement of stakeholders relevant to the project, at the local and national level;
• Participate in desk research and benchmarking activities;
• Support the operational team in the day-to-day management of project activities.

Required / preferred qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Political Science, Management Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related;
• Previous experience, even brief (internships/internships) in areas related to innovation, design or consultancy;
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English;
• Basic knowledge of analysis and project management tools;
• Competent in Microsoft or Mac OS applications;
• Good written, analytical and organisational skills.
Description of the association
Tondo supports analyses, studies, scientific research, planning, experimentation, and operational activities related to interventions and services aimed at safeguarding and improving the conditions of the environment, and the prudent and rational use of natural resources, following the principles of the Circular Economy.
Tondo wants to accelerate the transition towards the Circular Economy, favouring the change of the economic system towards one that is regenerative and restorative. The association’s main aims are:
• To foster the further development of entrepreneurial and innovative activities within the Circular Economy by developing and spreading knowledge;
• To create a broad and heterogeneous ecosystem actively operating in the different areas of the circular economy;
• Experiment with new and innovative solutions through its network of partners by implementing specific projects.
