Ateh Ndiforngu

Ateh Ndiforngu is a PhD student at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering in the University of Padova. Prior to this, she worked on innovative landfill rehabilitation techniques that promote circular economy principles for her Master's degree through a joint program between the National Advanced School of Public Works in Yaoundé and the University of Padova, hence the subsequent published article on “material recovery as a strategy for landfill remediation.”

Building on her knowledge of circular economy principles and as required of her doctoral research, she is currently studying the topic of “Waste and Health,”with a focus on the fate of microplastics and their impact on ecosystems and human health. Having a strong interest in connecting scientific research with innovative solutions, she aims to contribute to the development of sustainable policies and technologies that foster a more circular and resilient economy.
